Two weeks ago I wrote a letter to Chris White, MP for Leamington Spa and Warwick, asking if there were any plans in the works for helping the street food industry deal with the current VAT rate of 20%.
He answered.
His response follows below.
We will try and get a meeting arranged in the new year, and will keep you posted on developments. In the mean time, if you are one of our fellow traders (or a supporter!) and have or will be having the same problem than please speak up. Individually we won’t get anything done, but if all it takes is a letter, a tweet or a share then collectively we might be able to improve things for all of us.
