What is Chef for Hire?
Have you ever wanted your own personal chef? Those of us not lucky enough to be living with one can now indulge in Jabberwocky delicacies in the privacy of our own homes. Whether you are considering a dinner party, a romantic evening or would just like to cheat at "Come Dine With Me", The Jabberwocky will provide.

How does it work?
Our tame chef, Barny, a fully trained culinary maestro and head chef of one of Warwick’s top Restaurants, Merchants Wine Bar and Brasserie, will ensure that your event goes off without a hitch. We will arrive at your place whenever you want us there, provide all the crockery you need, cook exactly the meal you desire and then whisk ourselves away at the end without leaving so much as a shred of washing up, so that you can get on with entertaining your guests.

Every event is different, and we aim to provide the perfect service every time. We can talk you through the menu, give recommendations for the wine and incorporate any dietary needs you have with the aim of making it a night to remember. Our team is well presented, experienced and has never been known to use the words “uh, dunno” in public, so you can rest assured that your kitchen and guests are in good hands.

Prices and Menus

Our prices start at £30 per head, delivered to your table with crockery and tidy up included. Here is a little something just to give you an idea:

Chicken liver and brandy parfait with fresh bread and balsamic onion marmalade
Roast tenderloin of Warwickshire pork, Boulanger potatoes, savoy cabbage and red wine gravy
Soft-set chocolate tart with raspberry coulis and Cotswold clotted cream

Being flexible is something we do well, so whether you are looking for a quiet meal for two while the kids are asleep upstairs, a dinner party for your eight best friends or a meal to impress your clients, we will prepare it descreetly in your kitchen and serve it straight to you.
